This coloring book is a collection of 50 of my favorite memes from my Instagram account @softcore_trauma. Coloring is an activity that can help us feel grounded in the present moment and calms racing thoughts. It quite literally helps us regulate our nervous system. I bring these memes to you, hoping you’ll find some joy, and maybe even some nervous system regulation, as you color them in.
Living with trauma is no joking matter. And, at the same time, I’ve found so much healing in looking at my trauma with humor and playfulness. When I laugh at the ridiculous brilliance of my trauma brain, I move away from shame and towards compassion. And it is compassion that moves us towards healing.
Filled with pictures of fancy cats and dogs, nostalgic pop culture figures, and your fav puppets, each illustration is paired with an affirming phrase, a self-care reminder, or some gentle self-deprecating humor.

The pages are printed on 80 lb. paper stock and the cover is printed with a 100 lb. satin finish. All types of coloring implements (pencils, crayons, pastels, pens, markers, or even acrylic paint) could work well on them. All images are double-sided printed.
Due to prohibitive shipping costs, the physical book is only available for shipping in USA. International buyers should consider the digital download version, in high-res PDF which you can print at home or at your fav local print shop.
